Annie's Blessing

Syd and I made the trip to Erie again for Annie's blessing. We had perfect roads and conditions on the way over, which was very nice for a change. The roads coming home were less than perfect, but only for the first and last hour.

Celia had Annie's clothes all hung out on a rack that just happened to be hung under a cute name sign someone had given her. I thought it was a cute little moment.

It was so warm and dry when we got there, so we did some more exploring by the river that goes thru their yard. I snapped this picture of Syd and Brian thru a cool hollow log right by the river.

All of us in the woods.

Brian skipped some rocks.
We even crossed to the other side of the river and had to show how victorious we were to make it back to the right side. Celia said that she was looking out the window for us and could see Brian easily in his black jacket. She thought I stayed on the right side of the river because she couldn't even see me in my borrowed camo jacket. Guess it really does work :)

A trip to Erie isn't complete without a stop at Krispy Kreme donuts. Ken sent me a picture of how he takes care of my cats by giving them tuna for a treat and told me to take just as good care of Syd. I sent this picture back to him and said this is how I take care of her!
Maden showing the heart donut he picked out this time.

Picture in front of the donut line.

Maden helped me move the car before we left for town.

My mom always requests lots of pictures of the kids. I got my phone out and all ready to snap this. Maden thought it was Facetime and said "Hello!" Funny boy knows all about technology.

Pretty girl in the dress my mom made for the blessing. She was so good during the blessing. Was wide awake, but didn't cry or puke on anyone.

All the kids ready for church.
Maden was very good about taking so many pictures. I like the "outtakes" -- makes it seem more real and not so posed.

Cute little family
Kids with their favorite cousin and aunt from Michigan

Gotta make sure everyone looks just right.

Annie was done with pictures by now.
Syd and Annie -- best buds

Love this side view of her cute little bow.

I'm glad we were able to go and represent the Purcell side. It's always nice to be able to support family in their important events.

That is fun you got to go and so nice of you to go. Annie looks just like a girl Maden, she is so cute. That's fun they live close enough you can make short trips and visit them!!
